I was wondering how the android image can be build.
I found the documentation for QCOM Linux: 9. Yocto Project User Guide | RUBIK Pi Documentation

But nothing about android? or android auto?

May I inquire if you are utilizing the Android version of RubikPi?
Furthermore, could you kindly inform us about the source from which you obtained the source code?

Not yet, I’m not using the android image.
I researching about integrate some c++ shared objects in the android image, but building it with yocto from scratch.

That is the reason i’m asking for the Android yocto manifest.

Android utilizes a separate SDK, which is not available on GitHub.
Furthermore, our Android version is exclusively for enterprise-level users. If you meet the criteria, please provide us with your email address, and we will communicate with you via email.

Hello, does this mean that open-sourcing and building Android for Rubik Pi 3 will not be supported in the future?

I work for a FAANG company however, this is just for my own research, so I guess I’m not applicable for the android yocto SDK.

I highly recommend to put this in you page, that your android support is limited to the images you provide through your web site.

In the short term, the open-sourcing and building of Android for Rubik Pi 3 will be limited to enterprise users only. For individual users, we will provide available images as well as an upcoming user manual.

Thank you for your response. Then, could you let me know where I can find the source code for the kernel used in the Android image you provide, since the Linux kernel is licensed under GPLv2?

For individual users, we only provide available Android images, and the source code for the Android version is not open-sourced.
In the short term, only enterprise-level users can obtain the source code.
