Android OS issues

Hi

I have installed Android on Rubik Pi but faces a few issues.

  1. The default DPI size is too big. Even if I go to the system settings and set everything to the smallest. The text and icons are still too big. Since there is no root access. All the change DPI app doesn’t work.
  2. The system does not support exfat USB drive. I thought Android 13 should support it?
  3. YouTube App doesn’t work. It says device incompatible.
  4. You can’t add any new program to the dock.
  5. The menu button shows the current opened apps. But there’s no option to close all of them.

Thanks

Hello. Do you have any update on this? Particularly, how do we get root access so we can change the DPI setting. Thanks.

1.Are you using the Android userdebug image? You may run adb root to add root privileges, and run wm density xxx (e.g., 160/320) to adjust the screen density and modify the icon and text size.
2.This is a known issue, which will be addressed in the upcoming Android 15 release.
4.5.Such functionalities will be progressively optimized and enhanced in future releases. Should you have any additional requirements, please feel free to provide feedback at any time; we will evaluate and adapt accordingly.

Hi, the adb command works. Thanks. Just a suggestion, the language option does not include “Traditional Chinese-Taiwan”. Please include it in the next release.

Thank you.

Okay, thank you for your suggestion.
