I am looking foward to purchase one board with QCS6490 processor in it to evaluate some use cases. And i have a couple of question regarding RubikPI3 that i couldn’t find in the documentation:
Is OpenGL4.6 or in general HW acceeleration supported in Ubuntu like here: here?
Is it planned to have direct boot from ssd in the future? Intensive compiles and OS re installs might concern me about the internal memory longevity .
1.The current Ubuntu Server version supports OpenCL 3.0. For more detailed information, please refer to the attached document. OpenCL.txt (17.3 KB)
2.Is there a plan to support direct boot from SSD in the future?
→ This feature is planned and is currently under active development.
You do not need to be concerned about the longevity of the internal memory. Our developer has been using the same RUBIK PI 3 for over a year, frequently re-flashing it nearly ten times a day on average, and it continues to function without any issues.
