I am using the Rubik in a project that involves it being power via a power distrubution board.
The data sheet only specifies C-type power supply (12V 3A, which should give 36W) which is the supply to all peripherals via the various ports but not the supply of the board itself. What is the max power rating of the Rubik Pi board?
Is the only way to provide power to it via the C-Type?
RubikPi can only be powered via its Type-C port. We recommend using a Type-C power adapter that supports the PD 3.0 protocol.
Laboratory tests confirm that RubikPi itself has a maximum power consumption of 30 W.
If a stable 12 V ⎓ 3 A supply is available, we recommend fabricating a power cable that feeds the board through the Type-C port.
For reliability reasons, 5 V operation is not advised—the voltage is too low and may induce various issues. Powering via the 40-pin connector is likewise discouraged.
