I have a SONY IMX415 sensor that I want to interface with the RP3.
I see on the Documentation that the IMX 477 is stated to be compatible, but since both use the CSI, how do I get the image feed via something like GST?

RubikPi has not been adapted for SONY IMX415. If the customer wants to make this adaptation, please first confirm whether the FPC interface circuit matches. After the circuit matches, you need to reconfigure the XML file for the registers.
The FPC matches the 477 and has the same 22 pin ribbon cable. How should the XML file be reconfigured? Can the camera be used without recompiling the kernel with the associated imx415.c file?

–>f the power supply method is consistent, and there is a crystal oscillator on the module (not on the Pi), it may not be necessary to compile the kernel or modify the kernel drivers. However, modifications to the XML files will certainly be required.
