Windows on ARM support

Hello,

Rubik Pi 3 Thundercomm F.A.Q page lists Windows on ARM support as being planned in the course of 2025. Since it’s the end of 2025, are there any news regarding this?

The Windows IOT Enterprise only for company evalution, if your company has such demand, please send us the email for detail information discussion, service@thundercomm.com

Hi Dennis,

Do I understand correctly, evaluation is only for companies, not individuals?

Just as a note, Qualcomm Windows BSP works on any Windows 11 product license, not just IoT

You are correct. But QCS 6490 offical system is Windows 11 IoT Enterprise, as I know it needs enterprise license for end project mass production. Maybe I made some misunderstanding. Anyway, our development will keep going, and will try to make it for developers also.

Thanks for the clarification.

I’m an individual developer interested in testing. I can already bring up Windows on QCS6490 with the sc7280/6490 drivers and ACPI, but Rubik Pi 3 SDIO Wi-Fi/Ethernet and PCIe 0/1 need board-specific drivers/ACPI (and PCIe link up in UEFI). Is there a developer/early-access path for individuals, or should I email service@thundercomm.com with details?

due to we are working on Ubuntu release in last three month, WoS schedule was delay. Hope we can get the official version Q1 2026. In case you are interested in early access test, please send email and I’ll try to let our product team aware it. Hope can help you. Thanks

Okay, thanks for the answer.

Have a nice day.
